Check List for IEP Students & the F-1 Student Visa

• Complete the registration form
• Pay a tuition deposit of US$500* and the registration fee US$100.
• Send IIE a copy of a recent (less than 3 months old) bank statement that shows that you can support your studies (minimum US$3275)
• Send IIE a copy of your passport photo page.
• IIE will send you the I-20 by mail (free), or by express mail ($50). 
• Apply to a US embassy or consulate for an interview.
• After you receive your I-20 from IIE, pay the SEVIS fee (I-901) of $100
• Go to your interview

The tuition deposit $500 will be refunded in the event of cancellation or visa denial upon return of the I-20 form.
