IIE is proud to offer complete programming for children between the ages of 6-12 years old in the Kid Short Term English Program (K-STEP) and young adults between the ages of 13-17 years old in the Teen Short Term English Program (T-STEP). 

Both programs have grown significantly in recent years, with over 200 students in the 2007 summer programs. IIE provides students of all ages with quality language instruction and a fun exciting activity program .
The K-STEP and T-STEP programs generally run for two weeks during the spring and for 5 weeks during the summer. Classes run from 9:00am - 4:30pm with lessons and different activities everyday.

Parents who also want to study English at IIE can join in a STEP course or the Summer STEP. The Summer STEP course is designed for parents who have children studying in the K-STEP or T-STEP programs.

Homestay is available for T-STEP students studying on their own without their families
 

ENGLISH SUMMER CAMP

We are also very proud to announce that we will be offering our first English Camp this summer in cooperation with YMCA Camp Erdman on the North Shore of Oahu in Waialua.

Students will have three hours of English lessons* Monday to Friday , followed by various sports and activities throughout the rest of the day and night. Students will learn, play and live with local English-speaking kids. Students can register for one or two week sessions from July 20-Aug. 1.

* Students must be between 8-15 years to participate in the English lessons.

* Students must be 13 as of July 1st to be in T-STEP. 6 year old K-STEP students must have completed a year of school, or currently be in school. 
* Students are placed in class based on their date of birth only.
