Hi! I’m Oriko.

I’m originally from Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.

I never expected to be living in the U.S., but here I am! I’ve been here for 3 years. Initially, I lived in Virginia, before ending up in Hawaii. 

Both in Japan and here in Hawaii, I’ve enjoyed some of my free time doing Aikido.

If you come to IIE, you might see me trying to share my natto with the non-Asian teachers, who are probably running the other way!  Ha!
