TOEFL

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score is used by many universities in the United States and Canada as an entry requirement for degree programs. Some corporations also use the TOEFL to determine the English proficiency level of their employees. 

Recently the new Internet Based Test (IBT) was launched. The IBT is a fully integrated exam that requires students to be proficient in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. 

IIE’s TOEFL Class combines explicit grammar practice along with reading, writing, listening, and speaking exercises to fully prepare students to take the TOEFL exam in any form--paper, CBT or IBT.

Students in the 20 hour TOEFL program study in the TOEFL course from 9am-12pm, followed by Academic Reading & Writing 12pm-1pm for a comprehensive preparation for the TOEFL test and college. Students take weekly practice tests/reviews on Mondays, and a full IBT TOEFL exam at the end of each 4-week term.

Students should be at least intermediate level and place into level 400+, or have a TOEFL score of 450.
