IIE/YMCA English Summer Camp
English Kids Discovery Camp
IIE Hawaii is a world leader in delivering high-quality, exciting programs for juniors from ages 4 to 17. Our English programs for kids and teens are the biggest and most wide-ranging in Hawaii, with over 200 happy students every year. Our English-only policy at the school ensures that students gain confidence in English communication skills. It's real English, real fun!
Kid-STEP (6-12 years) & Teen-STEP (12-17 years)
We offer exciting English plus Activity programs for children between the ages of 6-11 years old in the Kid Short Term English Program (K-STEP), and young adults between the ages of 12-17 years old in the Teen Short Term English Program (T-STEP). Students have three hours of high-quality lessons at our school, and different fun activities and trips around Hawaii every school day. Students may join from one week to six weeks. Snacks are included, but students must bring their own lunch.
in 2012, K-STEP and T-STEP programs are scheduled for 6 weeks in the summer (July 9-August 17). Our Summer
K-STEP and T-STEP classes and activities run 9am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Our summer programs are very, very popular, and always fill up very early for the peak weeks. Early registration is highly recommended!
Homestay may be available for T-STEP students studying on their own without their families.

IIE/YMCA English Summer Camp (8-15 years) 
We are proud to be offering our English
Summer Camp again this summer in cooperation with YMCA Camp Erdman on the North Shore of Oahu in Waialua.
In this overnight English immersion camp, students have three hours of IIE English lessons each morning Monday to Friday, followed by various sports and activities with local kids the rest of the day and night. They include swimming, hiking, soccer, archery, climbing wall, outdoor survival, camp fire, arts and crafts, and personal development. All meals and accommodation included.
Each session is Sunday-Friday. Students can register from one to three sessions for 3 weeks, July 22-Aug. 10. Weekend stayover (Fri-Sun) is available for students registered in two or more sessions. Transportation from the Honolulu airport (or YMCA-Nuuanu Branch) to IIE/YMCA English Summer Camp is also available.

English Kids Discovery Camp (4-6 years)
IIE’s English Kids Discovery Camp is an exciting partnership with the world-class learning facility, Hawaii Children's Discovery Center.
Designed for kids 4-6 years old, this unique program with local English-speaking children brings together the Discovery Center's imaginative, educational themes with IIE's internationally-recognized kids English program.
English is taught the best way possible for young children: through fun, hands-on and interactive educational activities -- all in English with English-speaking children. Also included is a daily English lesson for international children only to practice the vocabulary and grammar related to the activities of the day and themes of the week.
English Kids Discovery Camp runs for 2 weeks in July. Camp times are 9am-2pm at the Children's Discovery Center. Students can register from one to two weeks. Lunch is provided. Transportation is available at extra cost. Parents can receive a brief optional tour of the Discovery Center on the first day.

English Classes for Parents
Parents who also want to study English at IIE can join our STEP course or the Summer STEP. The Summer STEP course is a beginner level course designed for parents who have children studying in IIE's summer programs.
